The “Internet of Things” (IoT), or “Machine to Machine” (M2M) communication, is well under- way—microprocessors are found in all sorts of “things” today: consumer goods, cars, credit cards, government IDs, CCTV cameras, elevators and even pets. Most of these have Internet connectivity (or the ability to be read by an Internet-connected device), and a lot of data can be gathered by this vastly expanded network of sensors. This group is dedicated to individuals managing, or developing projects involving the Web, Mobile, and Social technologies. Our group includes (but isn't limited to) developers using Adobe Flex, Adobe Flash, standard HTML5, and other development tools. Discussions around application frameworks for iOS, Android™, and BlackBerry® Tablet OS devices, as well as traditional applications for browser and desktop using the same programming model, tool, and codebase.
